"Having lens replacement in both eyes was something I had been thinking about for many years. I have worn varifocal glasses for about 20 years. Due to the nature of my work and my high anxiety about anything to do with eyes I wanted both eyes done at the same time under general anaesthetic. I understand this was unusual but having explained everything, including the risks involved, to me Mr Ross agreed. Unfortunately I contracted Covid shortly before my procedure was due to take place. I chose multi-focal (PanOptix) lenses, giving me now distant, mid-range and near vision, no reading glasses required.
